Cutting a Christmas Tree

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving we went to Bob's with Grandma and Grandpa Clevenstine and Uncle Josh and Judy and chopped down a Christmas tree. There wasn't snow, but it was about as cold as hooey out there. Fortunately, I was all bundled up an a snowsuit and smooshed against Dad's chest. Being a baby is awesome. And so is cutting a Christmas tree.

Thanks. Who are you, Bailee?

Micah, I think it's time Uncle Christer educated you about a little trick some folks use on blog posts.

You don't actually know someone called "Bailee." So-called "Bailee" is just someone who comments on random innocent people's blogs and leaves a link in the comment hoping to drive traffic to their own site.

Notice that the word Christmas in the comment is clickable? It's actually a link back to the site that "Bailee" hopes you'll visit.

It's a disgusting world of deception and advertising, Miguel, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. You'll learn soon enough.

And don't worry, I got your back.

P.S. If there's ever anything clickable in my comments, rest assured that it is certainly safe and worthwhile to click on that link.

Don't worry, Uncle Christer. I deleted her right off my screen. Boo-yaw.
